Real Estate Sales and Rentals are continuing to be the perfect match at WWP. The two divisions truly bring our clients the “Best Of Bald Head”.

 

Our REAL ESTATE clients are benefiting from the new contacts we are making through our rental program, and RENTAL OWNERS are benefiting from our sales agents’ long term relationships with Island owners and prospects.

 

Both Divisions benefit from our extensive web presence and print marketing. We know of no other company on Bald Head Island that does the customized marketing of homes to the extent of WWP.

 

Currently, you can find our homes in the following magazines: Luxury Portfolio International, DuPont Registry, Unique Homes, Open Fences, Coastal Million Dollar Homes, Hot Retirement Towns, and various regions of the Wall Street Journal. We also have sent out 3 direct mail pieces since Labor Day and we have been advertizing in the Friday Wall Street Journal Luxury Addition throughout the late summer.

 

Recently, we rented a home to a real estate prospect for 8 weeks this summer. We are talking to Rental Home owners now that would like to be part of our 2012 program. We have a commercial laundry and office space for our RENTAL DIVISION down at Merchants Row near IPS.

 

I spent last week in Orlando at the Vacation Rental Manager Association annual meeting where I shared ideas and thoughts with rental and real estate companies from across the country. I will be going back to Orlando in March for the LeadingRE and Luxury Portfolio International Conference.

C.A.R.E. Project to Visit Bald Head

These Families Need Your Support

 

On November 9, 2011, counselors are arriving to meet on Bald Head Island and on Thursday, Nov 10th, many families will arrive for the meeting/workshop. In support of this remarkable program, BHI residents and local businesses have really stepped up and more than satisfied the housing needs for the families and attending counselors!

 

While the housing has been squared away, there is still budgetary needs for providing the group of 50+ guests with ferry tickets, parking, food, golf carts as needed, and other smaller expenses.  The estimated need is around $6000. Every dollar counts and we are asking for everyone to give what they can to this outstanding cause. This is a 503(c) 3 non profit, which means that a donation of any pecuniary value may be tax deductable.

 

The CARE Project is devoted to family emotional support.  The goals for the retreat are:

 

1.  To create a sense of community among families with children who are deaf or hard of hearing

2.  To bring comfort and knowledge to the parents in attendance

3.  To connect families to resources and other families for information and support

 

Families will spend time together with other families, parents will spend time with staff on a variety of topics, children will have planned activities allowing parents to be in the workshops....lots of opportunities to enjoy, relax and learn!  In the end, these families will leave this experience feeling better about their children, their lives and looking forward to a future filled with hope!
