Andy
and I attended the LeadingRE conference in Las Vegas, and then spent some
time in St. George, Utah near Zion National Park.
The
conference was great and reinforced the value of good pricing in a tough
market. Sellers MUST think like buyers.
Guy
Kawasaki was an inspiring speaker, while David Stevens, the assistant HUD
secretary and FHA Commissioner, was more realistic about the challenges
in front of us. Ron Peltier, Chairman and CEO of Home Services of
America, the Berkshire-Hathaway real estate affiliate and the nation’s
second largest brokerage, said we were in for another tough year.
I
also attended a two day seminar on Marketing and Technology, and am
always amazed at what the future brings and how quickly it is coming.

in
Las Vegas
Wendy
Wilmot Properties attended a conference featuring MarTech and Leading
Real Estate Companies of the World over the past week in Las Vegas. The
MarTech event focused on new ways to use technology and gain cutting edge
exposure on the internet. We also were able to attend the presentation of
Keynote Speaker, Guy Kawasaki. Guy is a managing director of Garage
Technology Ventures and was previously with Apple Computer developing Macintosh.

There
were over 700 attendees from several different countries around the world
in attendance at the LeadingRE Conference. Wendy Wilmot Properties used
this opportunity to learn, network and promote the wonders of Bald Head
Island to all.
