We continue to be very busy with only four weeks remaining until Labor Day. I spoke with an agent from the Wrightsville Beach area last week and she said only 7 homes have sold over 2 million. Pricing is very important and sellers that can offer owner financing widened their prospect pool.

Fun With Pirates!

What an incredible weekend! In celebration of Old Baldy and National Lighthouse Day, Pirates returned once more to historic Bald Head Island for a weekend of swashbuckling fun and excitement. Music, treasure hunting, the Rusty Cutlass Band, and the School for Scallywags were a huge success for families all over BHI. Blackbeard’s crew provoked the crowds with enchanting pirate trivia; the Meka II ushered in the arrival of Captain Sinbad, and Captain Jim entertained as the Pirate Magician.  Pancakes with the Pirates was a great family event, but then again, so was the popular Pirate Pub Night.

 

Over 100 volunteers, gracious pirates, and the Old Baldy Foundation worked together to make the weekend a wonderment as in years past, and raised funds for the preservation of our 192-year old Lighthouse.
