 Village Council Calls for Island Stakeholders to Get Involved… Will You Answer the Call?

 

As a result of the leadership of the new Village Council and the recent on-Island retreat,  new committees have been formed and prior committees joined together in one common goal – to benefit our Island and its stakeholders. The Village Council’s goal of making our resources more efficient has yielded positive results thus far. Working together is the only way to keep things moving in a positive direction, which is why the Council is calling on Island Stakeholders to join in. They are seeking fresh ideas and new strategies to carry us all forward.

 

The following are now official Village Committees:

 

·          Communications

·          Finance

·          Parks & Recreation

·          Public Safety & Transportation

·          Public Works & Utilities

·          Shoreline Protection

With the changes to committee charges and appointments, it has been requested that all committee volunteers complete a new Committee Appointment Application. To do so, please pick up an application from Village Hall or download an application from www.villagebhi.org.  You may also click this link to be directed to the application.
