Thank਍ഀ you to all who have become active participants in Bald Head Island’s਍ഀ first Mayoral Election. The Candidates Forum held at the Bald Head Island਍ഀ Club on October 5^th was both exciting and informative. There਍ഀ were excellent questions asked as well as thoughtful and intuitive਍ഀ answers given. Candidates Andy Sayre, Larry Lammert, and John Fisher will਍ഀ participate in a Candidates Night being held on October 8^th਍ഀ starting at 4PM at the Association Center.

The਍ഀ format of this event will differ from the previous. During Opening਍ഀ Statements, each Candidate will have three to four minutes on the floor.਍ഀ Followed by 30-40 minutes of Informal Meet-and-Greet where Candidates਍ഀ will be allowed an unstructured one-on-one opportunity with attendees.਍ഀ The timeframe will be determined according to overall attendance, as well਍ഀ as temperament and behavior of the crowd so as  not to have people਍ഀ leaving before closing statements have been made. Each Candidate will਍ഀ have four to five minutes to offer final thoughts via Closing Statements,਍ഀ which will offer any necessary clarifications or restatement of messages,਍ഀ not rebuttals of another candidate’s point of view.
