What a busy week we had after the fourth! People were all over the island and open houses were busy too. Buyers were interested in getting out to see homes and many appointments were made. Now we get to see if any of those showings will end in offers. This is a patriotic crowd down here. Flags and banners were hanging everywhere, especially on golf carts. The weather is beautiful and warm. What’s not to love on Bald Head Island??

Over 100 Attend McIntyre Event

Congressman Mike McIntyre was well-received by Bald Head Island this past weekend with over 100 Island contributors in attendance. Island supporters gathered in appreciation of McIntyre’s position against the North Carolina International Terminal, his concerns for our beaches, and his assistance with the Army Corp or Engineers. Click here to read the June 30^th Press Release by McIntyre’s office, which clearly and robustly outlines his opposition on the Port.

The reception was held at the home of Adie Coy, 710 Shoals Watch near the Shoals Club this past Saturday, July 10. If you were unable to attend, but would like to support our beaches, please make a contribution to Congressman Mike McIntyre’s campaign.
