C.A.R.E. Project Success
on Bald Head Island!
What
a fantastic weekend for the CARE Project on Bald Head Island! On November
9th,counselors arrived and on Thursday, Nov 10th,
many families arrived for the meeting/workshop. In support of this
remarkable program, BHI residents and local businesses really stepped up
to satisfy the housing needs and sponsorship needs for the families and
attending counselors!

There
is no doubt that the attending families had a great time and feel blessed
to have had the opportunity to meet so many others who have the same
challenges. A special thanks to Johnnie Sexton for putting so much of
himself into CARE every day, and to Ginger Dunn and Wendy Wilmot for
their assistance in making the workshop on BHI a special success.
Randy & Sandy
Simpson of Durham, NC –
“What
a GLORIOUS weekend!!!! I dearly loved getting to
know each and every single one of the other
families!! I am so proud of each and every one of
you! You are ALL such amazing parents and advocates for
your children!! I wish that The CARE Project had
been around when Stephanie was younger!
What a blessing and difference it has already made in our
family!!
Thank you to all
of the amazing professionals that gave, gave, AND gave to serve us
endlessly! Thanks to those of you that shared in the
sessions-I gained so much information from you all! Thanks to
all of you that cared so wonderfully for our children! They
really loved each and every one of you! I still
can't believe you talked my oldest boys into going on a "bear"
hunt!! Thanks to Christi and her WONDERFUL
cooking! (I am REALLY missing that
today......) Thanks to Xris and Michael for creating a story
for all of us with their movie making
skills! Thank you to Ginger and Wendy for
arranging the beautiful accommodations for us! Bald Head
Island was certainly a small piece of paradise!!
Thank you to Dr. Yoder for being such a great co-director for
the wonderful weekend! I so appreciated him sharing his
story and inspiring all of us that ANYTHING is
possible! Now last but certainly not
least......THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU to Johnnie for his
endless work, sacrifice and love for all of us to make this weekend
possible! I have loved getting
to know him this last year and work with him. He is one of
those few people that you meet in your life that will FOREVER make a
mark- because he isn't just doing a "job" he is loving us
and wanting the best for our children!!! We all
love and appreciate beyond words the memories that you created for
us!
Love and thanks,
Sandy”

WWP Offers More in Service & Satisfaction
Wendy
Wilmot Properties has completed our first “season” of vacation rentals
and it was a great success! We began by limiting the number of homes in
our program, as we are dedicated to making sure that both renters and
owners have a positive experience with us. Our rental program had an
approximate 93% occupancy rate during the peak season! We now have
openings in our rental program for a limited number of homes. Once we
have reached our number, we will no longer be adding homes for 2012.
Wendy
Wilmot Properties is the only company on Bald Head Island that
internationally markets our rental properties via the prestigious Luxury
Portfolio International! We include a VRBO listing, which delivers
daily leads & inquiries, free of charge to all WWP rental homeowners.
WWP has a dedicated rental staff and receptionists. We also have a new
commercial laundry service to properly clean and maintain our linens.
This means that we will not wash towels & sheets in homeowners’
machines, thus saving them the cost of supplies, utilities, and wear
& tear on their appliances. Visit our newly launched site at www.WendyWilmotProperties.com
to see our state of the art search engine, and online booking services,
which make booking your home easier for our guests.
Also,
if you are currently marketing your home for sale or have considered
doing so in the near future, you may be interested in our rent-to-sell
program called Triple “T.” WWP has come up with the perfect way to create
a win-win-win situation for renters, owners, and selling brokers. Call us
for details!
If
you are interested in what Wendy Wilmot Properties has to offer you –
rentals &/or sales- please give us a call or an email. We are ready
to speak with you and give your home a free evaluation.
We
know you have choices, and we sincerely appreciate the chance to work
with you.
