It
is hard for me to believe that we are over half way through the summer.
Time truly does fly when you are having fun, and that is exactly what we
have been doing… Having fun!
This
last week, as you may be able to imagine, we have had visits from
several groups of friends. All very social and all very fun. I got to
take some of the guys fishing one day and we actually had some very good
luck with flounder. That crew left and then some friends came down for a
few days of golf. It was Betty’s birthday and she could not have been
happier to play a little good golf and go out to dinner to celebrate.
Now, I understand, that some grandchildren are on the way this weekend
and we will have to shift into grandparent mode. I really can’t wait to
see the little guys.
I
am happy to report that during all of my fun with friends and family, I
managed to sell another house to some really nice folks.
Bald
Head island, there is just no place I would rather be.
Look
for my yellow golf cart “Sales Office” around the Island and come see me.

Fundraiser
for US Senator Kay Hagan - Shoreline Protection
Please
make plans to attend the fundraiser for US Senator Kay Hagan, which will
be held at Rich Tarplin’s house on East Beach the evening of August 13th.
Senator Hagan can be of critical importance to our struggles with
shoreline protection, particularly as it relates to the erosion caused by
the Wilmington Harbor Channel. Please you’re your calendars and contact

WWP’s Laundry
Facilities
The
WWP rentals department has been taking off with a bigger start than anticipated!
Not only are we pretty much booked up for the summer, but we now have a
fully operational laundry facility on Merchant’s Row. We are dedicated to
making sure that our rental homes’ laundry is cleaned and properly
maintained. This also saves on wear and tear of our owners’ equipment and
resources. If you are in the neighborhood, stop in and say hello to our
head of housekeeping, Clark!
Ladies’
Team Invitational
This
past Sunday, WWP sponsored the Porter’s Neck Ladies’ Team Invitational
from 10AM – 12PM held at the BHI Tennis Club. This was a fun and friendly
doubles team match that was followed by a social pizza party. We got to
meet so many great ladies and the event was certainly fun and
entertaining… despite the heat!
